ROSA unveils hacker-proof smartphone R-FON with natl OS
MOSCOW, Dec 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s ROSA has unveiled a hacker-proof smartphone R-FON with national operating system ROSA Mobile and already started accepting orders for the business-to-business segment, the company said on Monday in a statement.
“It is a joint project of two Russian technological companies ROSA and Ruteq…R-FON will become available for ordering in 2024 and applications are accepted from December 18. In the mid-term, ROSA Mobile-based smartphone will become available on the consumer market,” ROSA said.
The device offers 10 GB of cloud storage and 128 GB of internal storage. It is equipped with ROSA ID, a service that unites all mobile products of the company, applications store ROSA Market, and cloud storage ROSA Disk.
The smartphone does not support VPN services.
According to earlier reports, the price was said to be below 40,000 rubles, but the exact tag has not been announced yet.
